So wo were fi na wosankofa

It is not wrong to go back for that which you have forgotten.
Our Belief
You can't tackle racism without tackling its roots

The Foundation is national charity established to advocate, advance and promote the betterment of the black/African community.

The Transatlantic Slave Trade (TST) resulted in major shifts in the developmental path and ethnic makeup of all countries involved. Understanding that the TST is the root cause of many of the issues facing the black/African community today, our work re-examines this major historical incident, measures its impacts and effects and traces them to the present day.

Acting as a national voice for the black/African community, we aim to improve the quality and life chances of black/African people by conducting research, raising awareness and promoting innovative solutions to challenge mainstream thinking.

Our purpose is to drive policy adoption, close skills gaps and raise the expectation and attainment levels, prospects and standards of and for our community. Our work also focusses on shining a light on the rich history, culture and achievements of Africa and her diaspora before, during and after the African Holocaust.
